ABOUT TEDx

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

About TEDx Samonda

Every generation has had their own share of ups and downs renounced by the foresightedness and doggedness of such fighters who refuse to continue wallowing within the gaps that time has created. At the maiden edition of TEDxSamonda, Ibadan, the pursuit is to look into historical events, see the present challenges and project ideas that can bridge future gaps of humananity. We want to explore salient but important ideas for political development, technological advancements, artistic aesthetics and other human centered ideas that are worth sharing. With such array of brilliant speakers, TEDxSamonda seeks to build a strong community of people who will serve as bridges to societal gaps.
